The Anglesey Hussars are a Battle Re-enactment and Living
History Society based in North Wales. We Portray the lives of soldiers and
camp followers during the Napoleonic Wars, from dramatic battles to period
encampment. Our society is made up of volunteers from all walks of life who
gather to portray these unique regiments at events both at home and
overseas. Drawn by the social life, travel, action packed battle
re-enactments or simply a love for the history, each of us has something in
common – we’re all in it for a
Damned good time!
Our society is always recruiting, throughout the year… whether
you want to be a Hussar, Gunner, militiaman or a camp follower the door is
